  • This year NEPA Summer in the City is pleased to announce the expansion of our Youth Communtiy Development Program in conjunction with our 2025 Partner: CASA of Wyoming Valley.

As we FUN-draise for CASA, offering high school students opportunities to get involved with communtiy efforts are at the heart of our mission. This program provides an outlet for rising high school students to engage, network, and learn within the NEPA community in a variety of ways. The program will feature a blend of Development Sessions with guest speakers, trainings, tours, demonstrations, career prep, and more, independent work as teams of students take on Communtiy Development Projects, and Volunteer Opportunities at major fundraising events, from festivals to bingos!

If admitted to the Summer 2024 Program, students will meet througout late-June through July at locations around the NEPA region, from CASA's Office and the Career Link to Kirby Park and local universities.
