    Welcome back, Loyola Lions!

    This 2025-2026 PTA Back-to-School form includes key information and registration for activities sponsored by the Loyola PTA, including upcoming events, PTA membership, donation and volunteering opportunities.

  • Important dates

    Here are some key dates to write down on your calendar for the next few weeks.

  • New Family Orientation - Monday, August 11, 6:30 PM: New families are invited to learn about Loyola's various programs, services, and activities.  Both adults and kids are welcome! 


    First Day of School and Welcome Breakfast - Wednesday, August 13, 8:30-10 AM: The PTA will host a Welcome Breakfast in the Multi-Purpose Room where parents can learn about school programs, sign up for after-school activities, and seek opportunities to volunteer in and out of the classroom and at school events.  Come grab a bite to eat and meet the Loyola community! 


    Back-to-School Picnic - Friday, August 15, 5:30-7:30 PM: Kick the school year off with a fun back-to-school picnic! Families will have a blast meeting teachers, reuniting with friends and building new relationships! Bring a blanket/chairs, pack a picnic dinner and/or purchase food from one of the food trucks we'll have on campus.


    Back-to-School Night - Thursday, August 21, 6 PM: Hear about all the exciting things your little lions will be doing this school year from the principal and our teachers. This is an adult only event.


    Parents' Night Out - Thursday, August 21, 7 PM: Babysitters have already been booked, so make the most out of your night! Come to Redwood Grill in the Rancho Shopping Center immediately following Back-to-School night to socialize with other parents.  Light appetizers will be provided by the Loyola PTA.


    Minimum Day - Friday, August 29: Students will have Early Dismissal at 12:15 PM.


    First PTA Meeting of the Year - Friday, September 19, 8:45 AM: Our first association meeting of the year will be held immediately following Friday assembly.  We’ll approve the 2025-26 budget, see how your generous donations are used, and learn about this year’s activities and opportunities to get involved.

     

  • PTA Membership

  • The PTA is a volunteer organization that organizes and funds:

    • Classroom, library, and STEM supplies
    • Art, music, dance, drama programs
    • Teacher development and appreciation
    • Kinder and TK summer playdates
    • Family activities such as Back to School Picnic, Trunk-or-Treat, Ice Skating Night, Ice Cream Social, and Junior Olympics
    • Annual school fundraisers such as Walkathon, Book Fair, and Auction

     

    PTA membership allows you to vote at PTA meetings. Our first meeting will be on September 19th at 8:45 AM (right after Friday assembly), during which we'll review and approve the 2025-26 budget.

  • Loyola PTA Donation

  • The PTA is a a 501(c)3 non-profit and its activities are entirely funded by donations. Our goals are to:

    • provide funding for student programs, library books and school equipment
    • connect our community through social events that bring together our students, families and teachers
    • support teachers & staff by providing funds for classroom supplies, professional needs, and recognition

    Your direct donation is our main fundraiser for the year. The suggested amount for the 2025-26 academic year is $500 per student, but any amount is appreciated.

    Your funds directly support each and every Loyola student. For example, funds are used to purchase school supplies for each student (you don't have to worry about buying any supplies before the start of school!), update library books, and enhance art and music programs.  Funds are also used for community building events, such as the Back-to-School Picnic, Walkathon, Trunk-or-Treat, Ice Skating Night, and Ice Cream Social. Lastly, funds are used to support teachers and staff through additional supplies needed throughout the school year and tokens of appreciation, such as the Staff Holiday Luncheon, coffee cart, and stocking the teacher lounge. None of this would be possible without your financial support!

  • All donations to the PTA are optional, voluntary, and tax-deductible. Our federal tax ID # is 94-6172154; consult your tax preparer to see if your contribution is tax-deductible. Email Loyola.Elementary.PTA@gmail.com if you need a donation confirmation letter.

  • Volunteering

    It takes a village!

  • Volunteers of all skills and levels are needed for our PTA to be successful. You can help just by sharing your talents, providing your expertise, extending your passion, or giving a little time. Your contribution, big or small, goes a long way towards creating an exceptional experience for our children. For any questions or to get more information about the committees listed below, please email Loyola.Elementary.PTA@gmail.com. 

    Please take a look at the events and programs below and check any boxes that interest you and that you would like more information about.  Checking the box does not commit you to volunteering on the committee for the school year.  Don't worry if you don't have any experience as there are lead parent volunteers and school district leads who will act as your guide, explain how you can help, and train you if necessary! 

  • Buy-A-Brick

    Make a lasting impression on Loyola's campus

  • For only $150, have a brick inscribed with a message and installed in the area near the Lion statue in front of the Loyola office. You can use the bricks to recognize your family, honor a favorite staff member, or share an inspirational message.  All proceeds are used to help fund the many PTA programs on campus.  Bricks can accommodate three lines of up to 20 characters each, and will be installed towards the end of the school year.  A PTA Buy-A-Brick representative will contact you with personalization details once we have processed your order.
