  • HeRise Growth Center – Program Description

     HeRise Growth Center provides short-term, structured supportive housing for adults transitioning from incarceration, institutional settings, or housing instability. Our program is designed to stabilize individuals during a 90–120 day placement window while they work toward permanent housing, independent living, or another appropriate next step.

     
    HeRise is not a shelter, halfway house, medical facility, or assisted living program. We operate as a housing-first stabilization environment that emphasizes accountability, structure, and forward progress.

     

    Program Focus 

    The HeRise Stabilization Program supports adults who are:


    -Returning citizens
    -Veterans
    -Displaced adults
    -Individuals experiencing housing instability
    -Adults with mild, non-medical support needs who can manage daily living independently

     

    Participants must demonstrate a willingness to engage in stabilization efforts and comply with program expectations.

     

    What HeRise Provides: 

    -Safe, clean, structured supportive housing
    -Shared or private units (based on availability)
    -Case management and stabilization support
    -Employment readiness and resume assistance
    -Assistance obtaining identification and documentation
    -Mail services and basic administrative support
    -Accountability through house rules and expectations
    -Referrals to external medical, behavioral health, and social service providers as needed
    -Continental breakfast (meals beyond breakfast may be provided through donations or sponsorships

     

    What HeRise Does NOT Provide 

    HeRise does not provide:
    -Medical care or clinical services
    -Medication administration or management
    -Personal care assistance
    -Behavioral health treatment
    -Nursing or custodial care

     
    All participants must be able to independently manage activities of daily living.

      

     

    Length of Stay

    The program is designed for short-term stabilization, with placements typically lasting:


    90 days Up to 120 days, based on progress, compliance, and payment arrangements

     

    *Extensions are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

     

    Payment & Participation

    Private Units: $1500

    Shared Units: $1000 per person
    HeRise operates on a direct-pay model.

     
    Program costs may be covered by:
    -The participant
    -Family members
    -Nonprofit organizations
    -Faith-based organizations
    -Sponsorship or support programs
    -Employer or workforce-related funding

      
    This is a paid program. HeRise does not offer free housing.

     

    Program Expectations 

    Participants are expected to:

    Follow all house rules and policies
    Maintain respectful behavior toward staff and other residents
    Participate in stabilization planning and check-ins
    Actively work toward income stability, employment, or housing transition
    Maintain a clean and orderly living space
    Communicate honestly and promptly with staff regarding challenges or needs

     

     Failure to comply with program expectations may result in disciplinary action or program termination, in accordance with HeRise policies.

     

      

    Intake & Acceptance 

     All placements are subject to:

     
    Completion of the application and intake process
    Review of eligibility and program fit
    Availability of housing units
    Confirmation of payment arrangements

     


    Acceptance into the program is not guaranteed and is based on capacity and alignment with program criteria.
