  • UPFund United Church of Canada 100th Anniversary Celebration grant

    • Eligibility and terms of reference 
    • 1. A one-time grant of $2000 per eligible Community of Faith (COF) (within the bounds of the former Waterloo Presbytery) to support activities that celebrate the UCC's 100th anniversary.

      2. COF planning joint activities can submit one application (i.e. if three COF are hosting a joint event, they are eligible for $6,000). All funds will be disbursed to the primary applicant COF. 

      3. Eligible project expenses can be claimed retroactive to January 1, 2025 and must be completed by December 31, 2025.

      4. Applications will be received on a rolling intake basis. The board of the UPFund will approve applications on a monthly basis. 

      5. An evaluation form must be completed. Although receipts are not required to be submitted, please note that they may be requested at a later time.

      6. A COF is eligible to apply for this grant if they have a currently funded project with the UPFund or if they plan to apply for a ministry or capital grant in the fall intake.

      7. All funds must be used for UCC 100 celebrations. Any unused funds should be returned to the UPFund.
