Confluence: Where Leaders in International Cooperation Meet is a leadership program for executive directors or senior leaders working within Alberta’s international development sector. The program is designed to create an effective community where participants come together to discuss leadership topics and issues most pressing to them as leaders. Specifically, as a participant, you will:
- Address opportunities and challenges that you face in your work as a leader within Alberta’s international development sector.
- Identify, share and collaborate best practices that build your and your organization’s capacity.
- Build community that fosters longer-term connection and support as you navigate challenges.
- Recharge and find inspiration from your peers, from guest subject matter experts and from the space around you.

Apply by September 16, 2025; for one of 15 spots available for this year's cohort. Selected participants will be notified by September 19, 2025.
Travel and accommodations will be covered for participants.
Commitment:
- Virtual Orientation: September 23, 2025. - Time: 11:00am;Your attendance at this orientation session is strongly recommended. During the session, we will provide essential information to significantly support you get the most out of your experience in the program.
You will also receive access and instructions related to a provided package, which must be completed both prior to and during your participation in the program in Banff.
