Your responses to these questions will be anonymous and will help us understand the current state of J.E.D.I. principles and initiatives within our profession and practices, track progress, and inform programs and shared resources.

    Justice is dismantling barriers (racism, classism, sexism, ableism, etc.) to resources and opportunities in society (power, wealth, education, healthcare, etc.) so that all individuals and communities can live full and dignified lives.

  • SECTION 3: Equity

    Equity means allocating resources in a way that recognizes individual advantages and barriers to ensure everyone has access to the same opportunities. Equity recognizes that advantages and barriers exist. Equity is the approach & equality is the outcome.

  • SECTION 4: Diversity

    Diversity is the representation of all people in society, encompassing race, ethnicity, gender, identity, sexual orientation, age, national origin, religion, socioeconomic status, ability, education, marital status, parental status, language, physical appearance, and other characteristics used to marginalize groups.

  • SECTION 5: Inclusion

    Inclusion is the environment in which any individual or group can be and feel welcomed, respected, supported, and valued to fully participate and be their full, authentic selves. Representation of people includes race, ethnicity, gender, identity, sexual orientation, age, national origin, religion, socioeconomic status, ability, education, marital status, parental status, language, physical appearance, and other characteristics used to marginalize groups.
