Ignite & Enchant 2025-2026 Season Registration

This form is for rising 3rd-6th graders that want to sing with Ignite (3-4th grade) or Enchant (5-6th grade). These are non-auditioned choirs and all are welcome!
We are so pleased to announce the inagural season of Ignite — our newest ensemble designed especially for young voices. This exciting new group brings together enthusiastic 3rd and 4th grade students to explore the joy of choral singing, many for the very first time. Through engaging rehearsals, age-appropriate music, and a nurturing environment, Ignite will help spark a lifelong love of music and build the foundational skills of ensemble singing, teamwork, and confidence.

The 5th and 6th grade members of Enchant learn to sing with the posture, breath control, and musicality of a young artist. They also begin to develop sight-reading and music literacy skills while enhancing their performance abilities, including choreography. They perform unison and two-part repertoire in various styles and languages.

Season Information
All SLYC ensembles will meet on Monday nights at Willard Middle School. Students will rehearse in individual choirs as follows: Ignite is for 3rd-4th graders and will meet from 5:00-6:00pm. Enchant is for 5th-6th graders and will meet from 5:30-6:30pm. Both non auditioned choirs will begin on Monday, October 6th. For awareness, all other ensembles listed are auditioned choirs for 7th graders and higher. They will begin September 8.

- Fall semester start: Rehearsals for non auditioned choirs will begin on October 6 and will continue each Monday except for November 3. See the chart above for your specific choir's time.
- Tidings of Joy concert: Saturday, December 13 at 4pm

Attendance policy: Two (2) excused absences are permitted per concert cycle (Fall & Spring). If a student has more than two excused absences, it will be addressed by the Artistic Director on a case by case basis.*

- August 18th through October 6th: 50% refund minus $25 cancellation fee
- October 6th+: No refund for the fall semester
- For the spring semester, we can offer a 50% refund through January 26th. There is no refund for the spring after January 26th.
