  Where: Copper Rock Golf Course-1567 W Copper Rock Pkwy, Hurricane
  When: June 17-July 9th Tuesday and Wednesday mornings 8:30-10:30 am (8 Sessions)
  Group Size: Limited to the first 15 registrants
  Ages Permitted: 7-17 (Boys and Girls welcome!)
  Skill Level: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced will all be accommodated
  Cost: $315/participant
  What to Bring: Hat, Sunscreen, Clubs   (Rental clubs available - must be arranged in advance)
  CAMP DETAILS:Kids will be broken up into Beginner and Advanced groups

No previous golf experience required

Own golf clubs required

Group instruction 65%, one-on-one instruction 35%

Clinic will encompass golf etiquette, safety, rules, instruction, fun games, contests and playing matches

Prizes will be given away

Water will be provided for all players each day

Canopies will be installed on the range to block sun. Please apply sunscreen to all players, each day

 

• Week One-

6/17/25-Introduction to Golf and player evaluations

6/18/25- Beginner group will have range practice and instruction. Advanced group will have short game practice and instruction

 

• Week Two-

6/24/25-Beginner group will have short game practice and instruction. Advanced group will have range practice and instruction. Break Glass Contest at the end

6/25/25-Instruction for driving woods and long irons. Second half will conclude with a game and contest for all players

 

• Week Three-

7/1/25-Instruction for wedges and short irons. Second half will conclude with a game and contest for all players.

7/2/25- 4-8 hole matches for all players. Parents welcome to follow players

 

• Week Four-

7/8/25- 4-8 hole matches for all players. Parents welcome to follow players

7/9/25- Games, contests, and end of Clinic prizes! 
 

Parent/Guardian, Waiver and Release Agreement.

It is most important that you read the following before signing.

I, being parent/guardian of the participant named above, am familiar with the plans and purposes of the Copper Rock Junior Golf Clinic and give full permission for my child/ward to attend and to participate. I understand that, by signing this Consent & Release Form below, I, my personal representatives and administrators, heirs, and next of kin agree to waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages or liability of any kind against, and hold harmless Copper Rock Golf Course LC, its employees, and volunteers, from and against any and all injuries, damages or any other claims or liabilities (including, without limitation, personal injury, death, or loss or damage to personal, private or other property), whether or not due to the negligent acts or omissions of Releasees, resulting from or arising out of my child’s/ward’s participation in Copper Rock golf events and activities.

  I will be responsible for my child’s personal belongings and equipment and will not hold Releasees responsible for their loss.

  My child will treat the facilities and equipment provided by Copper Rock Golf Course with care. I understand that I will be assessed for any damage to facilities or equipment caused by my child’s acts or omissions.

Medical Emergency Statement

I, being parent/guardian of the participant:  give my permission for my child/ward to receive emergency medical treatment, if necessary, as a result of participation in the Copper Rock Junior Clinic; and  agree to indemnify, waive, release, covenant not to sue, and forever discharge Releasees from any and all liability or claims arising out of such treatment.

Photo & Press Release

I, being parent/guardian of the participant do hereby grant permission to Releasees to utilize my child/ward’s likeness, image, voice, and/or words incidental to any pictures, television, radio, videotapes, recordings, film, the Internet, or any other form or medium now known or hereinafter devised without compensation, payment of royalties, notification, or permission. I further understand and irrevocably agree that (1) these materials will become the property of Releasees and will not be returned to me; (2) Releasees may edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute photos for purposes of publicizing or promoting Releasees, its programs, or for any other lawful purpose; and (3) I waive any right to inspect or approve Releasees’ use of my child/ward’s likeness, image, voice, and/or words.
