Call for Art

Busey Bank is thrilled to announce a new round of their recurring art exhibit located at their headquarters in Urbana! They are looking to showcase the work of multiple local artists chosen through a jury selection process. All selected pieces will be displayed from October 2025 through July 2026. The Downtown Urbana location is currently open from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday for artists who would like to view the specific wall site and surrounding area. Please note that display areas will be located on the second and third floors.
Deadline submission is 11:59pm on Friday, August 22nd. Late work will not be considered. We will contact the selected artists in early September with further instructions. There will be an opening reception in October for the artists and community members with more details to come.
REQUIREMENTS:

·       Each artist may submit up to 3 images of original work for consideration

·       All 2D mediums will be considered

·       Submissions must be appropriate for all viewing audiences

·       No submission fee required

·       Artwork must be no larger than 48 inches wide x 48 inches high

·       Artwork cannot weigh more than 40 pounds

· Selected artwork must be ready to hang

·       Artwork can be one individual piece or made up of multiple panels that are part of one cohesive piece and fit within the size requirements

·       Building owners and/or management are not liable for any damage to selected art

·       A contract will be signed by both parties

·       All entries must be submitted online with this form (in person delivery of submissions to Busey will not be accepted)

·       This opportunity is available for artists living or working in Champaign County, McLean County, Macon County and Peoria/Tazewell County however artwork delivery and pick up arrangements must be made upon acceptance

·       Artwork delivery and pick up arrangements must be made by the artist upon acceptance

Each artist may submit up to 3 hi res images. Images should be in jpeg format and not exceed 5MB per file (resolution should be between 150 and 300 dpi). If you are unable to provide images in this format or are unable to resize existing images, please submit available images and make note in the comment section.
