My Photo Shoot Structure
Premium Photo Shoots
Premium photo shoots are a unique experience compared to most fandom photographers. For this style, you will get up to 4 photos per session, per subject. These shoots include the use of my full lighting setup, a second camera, and additional lenses to achieve the highest quality results.

Each photo is carefully planned, with special attention given to lighting, posing, and composition. A single image can take up to 30 minutes to capture. I also spend extra time in post-production, using masking and layer techniques in Lightroom and Photoshop to remove distracting elements, clean up fursuit seams, and enhance visual impact.

Premium photos are limited to a maximum of 4 per client to ensure the highest quality.

 

General Photo Shoots
For general photo shoots, I will work with a single camera (Canon R5 or R5ii) and a single lens (RF 50mm 1.2L or RF 85mm DS 1.2L), keeping the setup lightweight so we can move around quickly and take photos throughout the convention.

These sessions are designed to be fast and flexible with minimal posing and simple composition. Each photo will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to capture.

Editing for general shoots is limited to basic adjustments in Lightroom. Clients can receive up to 12 photos per session.

If you're looking for more carefully posed and thoughtfully composed images, I recommend selecting the Premium Photo Shoot option instead, as it offers a more in-depth creative process and post-production.

What to Expect During the Session
A photo shoot typically lasts between 60 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the number of photos requested, group size, and chosen shoot style. We'll explore different areas of the convention space and, even venture into the surrounding city.

During your session my focus is entirely on you—capturing images that are unique, expressive and tailored to your character.

Additional Premium Time Slot Fees
I offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. However, please note that some time slots—such as Friday and Saturday nights—are in high demand. These are considered premium time slots and may include a small additional fee.

If you're looking to avoid this fee, consider booking during less popular times, like Thursday mornings or evenings if applicable. I want every client to find a time that works with both their budget and their con schedule.

Photo Shoot Terms of Service

Scheduling

• The time and date of the photo shoot is subject to mutual agreement between both parties.
• The location can be either a public space or a private space within the control of either party, such as a hotel room.

Rates

• Photoshoot prices will vary depending on how many photos the client requests.
• Additional fee is applied during peak convention times.
• If an option below does not suit your needs, feel free to contact about different photo amounts and group size. Don't be afraid to ask for a custom package

Booking and Payment

• A non-refundable down payment of 40%, rounded to the nearest $5, is required to reserve your spot.
• Shoot dates and times must be selected at least 14 days in advance of the event, regardless of the official schedule.
• Once the official schedule is available, one change may be made by either party, provided it is mutually agreeable. Plus price difference if applicable for different timeslots.
• Change requests by the client to the shoot time or date after the event has begun are subject to a $30 rescheduling fee. Plus price difference if applicable for different timeslots.

Timeslots

• Clients may select a time slot that best fits their schedule, subject to availability.
• Each time slot is priced individually, with premium rates applied during peak convention hours.

Additional Subjects

• Payment for the photo session must be made by a single individual on behalf of themselves and any additional subjects joining the session.
• All members participating as subjects in the shoot must also complete this form.

Payment and Forfeiture

• Full payment must be made one hour prior to the scheduled shoot, with no exceptions.
• Failure to make full payment will result in forfeiture of the deposit and the photo shoot.

Refunds

• Refund requests for the full payment, minus any fees imposed by PayPal or other payment services, may be made up to 21 days prior to the event.
• The deposit is non-refundable within 20 days of the event start (day 0), which often falls on a Wednesday for most conventions.

Client Communication

• Clients must keep in contact, preferably through Telegram, at least one hour prior to the photo shoot time to confirm their attendance.
• If no contact is made, the photographer (referred to as "Blue") will wait for up to 10 minutes at the agreed-upon time and location for late clients. If the client fails to show up without communication, $40 or deposit is forfeited whichever is greater.

Inclement Weather

• Photo shoots will generally proceed as scheduled in the case of light rain or minor weather disturbances.
• In the event of heavy rain or severe weather conditions that may affect the safety of the participants or the quality of the photos, the client may request to reschedule the time slot.
• The determination of what constitutes "heavy rain" and whether rescheduling is necessary will be at the discretion of the photographer (referred to as "Blue").
• Blue will work with the client to find an alternative time slot in the event of weather-related rescheduling.
• If heavy rain occurs, and no other suitable time slot is available for rescheduling, a full refund, including the deposit, may be provided to the client.

Prop and Outfit Rentals

• Clients may rent props or outfits for a small fee.
• When renting outfits, clients must shower before the shoot and have their suit clean.
• Props are fragile and are not toys, please treat them carefully.
• By accepting props or outfits, you agree that if you damage them, you are responsible for their replacement.

Late Arrivals

• If the client is late, Blue is not obligated to extend the photo session.

Photography Services

• Blue promises to provide the client with high-quality photos to the best of his ability.

Missed Appointments

• If Blue fails to meet the client within the agreed-upon time, with a 10-minute grace period, the client may request a full refund or reschedule during the current convention.

No-Show Clients

• If full payment was made, and the client fails to show up, the client can receive a partial refund.
• If the second subject is a no-show client, the primary client is eligible for a partial refund based on what was planned for the second.
• The time of the shoot will be adjusted accordingly if one or more additional subjects are no-show clients to ensure an appropriate shooting duration for the remaining participants.

Photo Delivery

• Please allow up to 4 weeks for post-processing of the photos.
• Blue will provide the client with a link or email containing the photos for access.

Usage Rights

• The client will receive watermark-free photos for personal use only.
• Any photos shared online must be the watermarked copy.
• Cropping or alterations to the photos are not allowed without permission, except for cropping for use as a profile picture (PFP) or social media header.
• Blue has the right to use the photos on their social media, websites, prints, or other promotional materials for self-promotion, advertising, or sales.
• The photo shoot may be filmed for a video.
• The photos may be considered for inclusion in a calendar, and by participating in the shoot, you grant permission for your photos to be used for this purpose.

Lighting Preference

Daytime Lighting: During the daytime, especially around noon when the sun is directly overhead, the lighting can be very harsh and create strong shadows on the subject. While this can sometimes result in dramatic and interesting photos, it can also emphasize imperfections and create unflattering angles. To counteract this, we might shoot in a shaded area or indoors.

Golden Hour: The Golden Hour occurs shortly after sunrise or before sunset. During this time, the lighting is softer and warmer, creating a magical and flattering effect on the subject. It’s considered one of the best times for outdoor photography because it provides a beautiful, natural glow and helps to smooth out tones.

Golden hour time is also very limited time window to work in.

Evening and Low Light: As we move into the evening and the natural light diminishes, we rely more on artificial lighting or camera settings to capture the scene. Photography in low light can create a moody and atmospheric effect.

If you would like to enhance your shoot, I offer props and outfits for rental. I have LED swords, pistols, sci-fi pistols, and a cyberpunk shield with a light-up option. Additionally, I offer a cyberpunk-style long coat, as well as a coat and pants.

Feel free to get creative with the options listed or bring your own props! Musical instruments also make for great photo props.

Rental fees can range from $15 per item to a few dollars per item. The total rental fee will be tallied up based on your selections.
