Human Resource Manager

Are you a passionate and experienced HR professional looking for your next leadership challenge? West Wimmera Shire Council is seeking a Human Resource Manager to lead our HR function for a 12-month period.

As Human Resource Manager, you will:

Oversee the full employee lifecycle, recruitment to performance management to training
Manage key HR functions including payroll, employee relations, and workforce performance
Provide expert advice on HR policy, industrial relations, and compliance
Lead strategic workforce planning
Champion a safe, inclusive, and high-performing workplace

The successful candidate will have:

A degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience
Proven expertise in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, including an
in-depth understanding of employment law and workplace policy
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills
