POOL RULES
For your safety and enjoyment, please review and abide by the following pool rules for our club during your visit:
- No running on the pool deck
- No food or drinks in the pool, no glass within 15 ft of the pool
- No diving in shallow water areas
- Be kind, no roughhousing
- Do not hang on or cross through lane lines
- Adults must supervise children at all times, non-swimmers within arms reach
- Pool toys– may be prohibited during peak hours. No rafts or big floats allowed
- Life Jackets (PFDs) must be U.S. Coast Guard Approved
- Appropriate swim attire must be worn at all times, long hair should be tied back.
- Double up: all kids under 3 years are required to wear a reusable swim diaper over a disposable swim diaper
- Dive blocks– limited to supervised use (swim team, lessons, or qualified staff)
- Diving board (Lifeguard on Duty ONLY, may be restricted)– one person, one bounce, one hand on the wall- forward entry, no run up
- Adult swim– 10 minute period called at top of every hour (ages 14 and up only)
- Lifeguards are the authority- follow direction at all times
Members are responsible for communicating and enforcing pool rules to all children and guests

Parties/Events: Check in with your event host (Brookside Club Member) for the Lifeguard-given safety briefing before enterng the water.
