    Members of the Board have the opportunity to play a significant role in guiding the Society and influencing the future of your profession. Using the form below, you may nominate a colleague for an open board or leadership position. Please submit separate nomination forms for each nomination.
  • OPEN POSITIONS FOR THE 2026 CSHP BOARD OF DIRECTORS 

    In addition to the specific responsibilities listed below, each Board member should be willing to be actively engaged in the business of the Society, attend Board meetings, and support the activities of the Society as needed. Please take a moment to review the CSHP offices and their responsibilities (from our ByLaws):

    President-Elect: Term of office - 3 years (one year as President-Elect, one year as President, and one year as Immediate Past President)

    The President-Elect shall assume the duties of the President in their absence and serve as a Board liaison to standing committees or ad hoc task forces as determined by the President.

    Treasurer: Term of office - 2 years

    The Treasurer chairs the Finance and Audit Committee and oversees
    the Society’s financial management.
    The Treasurer works in concert with the management on all financial matters:
    reviews all transactions and statements, signs checks, develops the draft budget,and oversees investments and the annual review of the Society'finances by a Certified Public Accountant

    Secretary: Partial Term (1 year remaining)

    The Secretary reviews the minutes of the Society’s meetings, writes correspondence for the Society and advises on other Society communications. The Secretary monitors societal actions and recommends changes to the Constitution, By-Laws and Operations as appropriate.

    Director-at-Large: Term of office - 2 years (one year as Junior Board Member and following one year as Senior Board Member)

    The Director-at-Large represents the membership of the Society at Board of Directors meetings; serves on the continuing education committee and assumes overall responsibility for programming; is responsible for the maintenance of Societal good standing with the continuing education accrediting agency; serves as a Board liaison to standing committees or ad hoc task forces as determined by the President.
