• Exciting opportunities are available to members of our organization who seek the unique challenges and responsibilities of leading the North Central Mississippi REALTORS® This is your organization and we need your help, skills, and ideas.

    Committee members shall be selected by the President-elect and approved by the Board of Directors based on the number of openings for each committee. Unless otherwise noted, these are 1- year commitments.

  • COMMITTEE DESCRIPTIONS

  • Community & Member Outreach (Events)

    To support and promote projects that enhance the image of REALTORS®, their association, and the community, working closely with NCMR staff to communicate and carry out annual initiatives.

  • MLS Committee

    Provide oversight of MLS policies, procedures, rules, forms, and services, including all computerized systems. This is a two-year commitment.

  • Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC/MARPAC)

    Monitor legal and legislative issues impacting REALTORS® and homeowners. Oversee RPAC fundraising efforts in coordination with NCMR staff to support real estate-friendly campaigns.

  • Grievance Committee

    Review ethics complaints and arbitration requests to determine if they proceed to a hearing. Members must be in good standing for at least two years and complete annual Professional Standards training. This is a three-year commitment.

  • COMMITTEE EXPECTATIONS

    Fulfill your Duty of Care by attending meetings, preparing in advance, using independent judgment, and reviewing policies regularly. Uphold your Duty of Loyalty by avoiding conflicts of interest, following policies, maintaining confidentiality, and acting without personal gain. Maintain Duty of Obedience by ensuring decisions align with the organization’s mission and comply with regulations. Represent and engage with members, promote association initiatives, attend events, prepare for meetings, stay focused during discussions, and help identify future leaders.
