This vibrant event brings together families, friends, and neighbors to honor our heritage, celebrate our culture, and strengthen the bonds that unite us.

HMAAO is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Hmong community in northeast Oklahoma for over 30 years. Our mission is to preserve and promote Hmong heritage through education and advocacy on Hmong history, language, culture, and traditions. A key event supporting this mission is our Hmong Oklahoma New Year Festival, scheduled for October 25 and 26, 2025.

Held each year in Inola, the Oklahoma Hmong New Year is a time of renewal, gratitude, and joy. It features traditional music and dance performances, colorful cultural attire, delicious Hmong cuisine, sports tournaments, and community showcases. It is also a vital opportunity for younger generations to connect with their roots and for the broader community to experience the richness of Hmong culture.
