    Terms & Conditions

    1. Booking & Payment
    All bookings must be confirmed with full payment. Dates are not secured until payment is received. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with details about your event.


    2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
    We understand that plans can change! Here’s how cancellations work:

    - Cancellations made more than 10 days before your event: Full refund
    - Cancellations made within 10 days: 50% refund
    - No-shows or last-minute cancellations: Non-refundable
    - If you need to reschedule, we’ll do our best to accommodate your new date                (based on availability).


    3. Venue Requirements
    Please make sure the event space meets the following requirements:

    - A standard electrical outlet within 10 feet of the setup location
    - A minimum area of 8ft x 8ft for the photo booth setup
    - Flat, dry, and stable flooring (indoor or outdoor)
    - The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue has granted permission for          photo booth setup.


    4. Start Times, Delays & Overtime
    We’ll arrive early to set up and begin at the time listed on your booking confirmation. If your event is delayed due to the venue, lost time may not be recovered unless additional time is purchased (based on availability).


    5. Liability & Equipment Protection
    The client assumes full responsibility for any damage to props or equipment caused by event attendees. The Shutter Soirée is not liable for injuries related to improper use of props or setup area.


    6. Photo Use & Privacy
    By booking with us, you allow The Shutter Soirée to use select images from your event for promotional purposes (social media, website, etc.). If you prefer we do not use your images, please notify us in writing before your event.


    7. Force Majeure (Stuff We Can’t Control)
    If we’re unable to fulfill your event due to emergencies, extreme weather, or equipment failure, you’ll receive a full refund or reschedule option. We’ll communicate with you ASAP if anything arises.


    8. Health & Safety
    We take sanitation seriously. Props and equipment are cleaned between events. If your event is postponed due to illness or health concerns, we’ll work with you to reschedule.


    9. Allergies & Fragrance Sensitivities
    Some of our optional props or booth extras may be lightly scented. If you or your guests have sensitivities, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate.


    10. Agreement to Terms
    By booking with The Shutter Soirée, you agree to the terms listed above.
