Band fees are collected at the beginning of the school to avoid requesting payment for various items throughout the year, and because the material items covered are provided at the beginning of the year.
This fee covers: initial band t-shirt, contest entry fees (All-District, All-Region, UIL, Festival Entry Fee, adjudicator honorariums, binders, dividers, pencil pouches, 2 pencils, meals throughout the year, field trips, and more!
This fee covers approximately 40% of the total cost spent per student throughout the year.
