Tattoo aftercare information
  • Tattoo Aftercare Instructions

    Must be 18 or older
  • Follow these instructions to ensure the best results for your new tattoo!

    After leaving your first session, you will be provided with aftercare ointment. If for some reason it's lost or misplaced, you can use;

    -Aquaphor or

    -A&D ointment

    -Aloe Vera gel

Keep your new tattoo covered for 1-3 hours with the waterproof bandage. Once you remove it you can gently clean the tattoo with anti- bacterial soap and pat dry.

Wash hands, and apply a small amount of ointment to the Tattoo, not pulling or dragging.  The coat of ointment should be enough to lightly moisturize and protect the tattoo, but not be so thick it's reflecting light. If you put too much just press a tissue gently over the area.

Continue using the ointment until all scabs or dryness is gone.

    What to Avoid:

•Do not scratch or pick your tattoo at any point

•No sweating or intense exercise for 72 hours after procedure

•Refrain from applying any fragrances/ lotion near the treated area

•Do not expose your tattoo to the sun or UV booth for minimum 2 weeks

•No waxing, or any hair removal process' until two weeks after the session.

  • Healing Process

  • Day 1-10: The tattoo will most likely form a slight scab or a layer of dry skin will form as you body's natural bandaid.

It is essential not to touch or pick at your skin. Just leave it be. It will heal at its own pace, usually by the end of the second week following the procedure.

Day 11-15: The area may be itchy while continuing to heal the deeper layer of tissue beneath the surface. Any scabbing or dryness will most likely be gone by now.

Day 16-30: You will also notice that the pigment color will fade slightly or almost completely ; this is normal and expected. This is why the touch up appointment is done so that the corrections can be made.
