• Through a collaboration between the Golf Foundation and England Golf, we have developed Junior Hubs with the goal of identifying and showcasing clubs that are the ‘right place’ for juniors to try, learn and love golf. We have jointly created an award for clubs to aspire to achieve and will support the club in their commitment to developing junior golf.

To support your aspirations for your junior section and process your application, there are a few key considerations and information to have to hand before you start the process which are outlined below:

    1.  Ensure you have made key personnel aware that you’re applying for Junior Hub Award, this should be at least the General Manager, Junior Organiser and PGA Coach.

    2.  Be prepared to proivde evidence of your current junior offer in the various stages of the 'Junior Journey':

    • Introduction to Golf (School and Community Links)
    • Club Introductions (Recruitment)
    • Skill Development (Coaching)
    • On the Golf Course (Playing opportunities)
    • Love the Game (Membership structure and costs

    3.  SafeGolf renewal date:

    4.  Key information from your SafeGolf personnel register:

    • PGA coach is on the Accreditted PGA Professional SafeGolf list, and/or your Community Golf Instructor (if you have one).

      • Name of appointed CWO
      • DBS in date (3 years from date it was completed)
      • Completion of key training (Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Time to Listen course)

If you have had these conversations and can find this information this will help you complete the application more effectively and efficiently.

If you're unable to provide information on either point 3 or 4, please still proceed with your application as it will form part of the support we can provide.

You can save your progress anytime and an link will be sent to the e-mail address you provide so you can easily re-visit from where you saved.

Thank you for your interest and we look forward to receiving your application.
