Share Your Memories: Costume Parties at The New School and Parsons

Do you remember attending costume parties as a New School or Parsons student? The New School Archives and Special Collections would love to hear your stories!

As part of the upcoming Mardi Gras Reboot Festival, an archivally inspired celebration of the historic Parsons Mardi Gras costume ball, the Archives team is gathering alumni memories. The festival will feature student art and design projects, performances, readings, and a costume parade accompanied by a Second Line band.

If you’d like to share your memories, the Archives team will record a brief conversation with you over Zoom (video or audio only, your choice). These recordings may be featured in festival projects.
