2025 Mark Hasso Educator of the Year Award

The Mark Hasso Educator of the Year Award recognizes and celebrates a full-time educator for a commitment to program and construction management education and for building relationships and connections between educators and practitioners.
Eligibility
- Nominees must be a full-time faculty member (tenured, tenure-track, or practitioner appointment).
- Current members of the CMAA Board of Directors and the CMCI Board of Governors are not eligible for this award.
- No individual may receive the award more than once..
Criteria

This award recognizes:
- Commitment to excellence in teaching.
- Leadership, commitment, and collaborative efforts between colleagues in the education community.
- Engagement with practitioners outside the academy.
- Engagement with CMAA, CMCI, and supporting CMAA’s vision and mission.
- Engagement with the Associated Schools of Construction, ABET, or ACCE.

- A 1,200-word narrative that describes how the individual meets the purpose and criteria listed above. Be specific. Include a summary of how the nominee has contributed to CMAA or the CMAA Foundation (or both if appropriate).
- One letter of support from the nominator submitting and supporting the nomination.
- At least two and not more than four signatures endorsing the nomination. These should be from CMAA members in good standing with knowledge of the nominee, their record of achievement, and the effect of their efforts.
