Become a Teen Volunteer

Our teen volunteer program is open to Manhasset residents in grades 8-12 (Sept. 2025 - June 2026) who are looking to help and make a difference in the community. Once a volunteer application is on record, teens will be eligible to begin volunteering.
Important:

Teen volunteer applications are valid for ONE academic school year. Application must be resubmitted every June to keep our records current with updated information.

Clean toys, clean books, program/craft preparations, clerical work, and more.

Help run and set up/clean up children's programs, family events, teen-only volunteer events, special events, and more.

The Manhasset Public Library cannot guarantee the availability of hours to fulfill community service requirements. We will do our best to accommodate all volunteers along with their schedules and needs.
