🎞️ Technical Skills:
- 📖 Strong storytelling and writing skills for short-form and long-form content
- 🤖 Data-driven mindset navigating backend dashboards, interpreting analytics, A/B testing and adjusting for performance across platforms
- 🎥 Skilled in multi-cam cinematography, lighting, audio, as well as run-and-gun event capture
- ✂️ Expert in editing with Photoshop and Premiere Pro, incorporating strong visual assets (bonus: After Effects and Canva)
- ⚡️ Strong organizational skills managing deadlines, multiple content platforms and volunteer teams
- 🚀 Jack of all Trades: skills for fast-paced & slow-paced edits, graphics and movement, thumbnail creation, long-form and short-form content, etc.
💼 The Role:
A hybrid creative role, blending technical video production, strategic vision, storytelling, and social media growth. Specific responsibilities include:
- 🎥 Lead technical video production (filming, editing, color, audio)
- 💡 Serve as producer, overseeing content workflows, creative development and collaborative storytelling with RLR Founders
- ↗️ Scale and monetize social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok)
- 🎙️ Launch and produce podcast series
- 📸 Attend events to document, film, and engage with students, donors, and attendees
- ✂️ Edit and produce all content for all online courses: Digital Programs and Virtual Trainings
- 🚀 Leadership skills to build out a team of competent volunteer editors and creative supports
- ⭐️ Operate 90% behind the scenes, with potential public-facing opportunities
🚀 Goals & Expectations:
In the first 90 days, you will:
- 📣 Master our brand, voice, and production standards
- ✂️ Take over editing current projects (the Digital Program, social media, etc)
- 🎛️ Implement streamlined file and gear management systems
- 🎥 Film and edit at least one major project start-to-finish
- 📲 Develop a social content strategy—including posting, testing, and optimizing for growth
- ⭐️ Begin building a volunteer team as support for the position
- 💬 Attend live events to document and capture content in real time
Within a year you will be the key player in positioning Red Light Rebellion as an emerging national media brand, expanding our school Digital Program trainings, driving audience growth and donor conversions from social media, and launching a podcast series to scale and monetize our content.

- 📍 Must be local to North Phoenix, AZ, or willing to relocate
- ✅ Full-time and on-site with flexibility for remote editing
- ✈️ Occasional travel for events required (all expenses covered)
💸 Compensation + Benefits
- 💵 $85,000 starting salary + annual raise
- 🏖️ PTO + flexible time off
- 🚀 Travel + tech stipends as project budgets allow
- 🎥 Pro-level gear + software (Adobe Suite, NAS systems, etc.)

    An example of a social media short / reel that you think would do well on IG or Tiktok,
    
    A clip taken from a "Digital Program Clip" to show your approach to online courses for students (keep landscape framing),
    
    And if you are doing a third video, we would like to see your own creative approach
  - The audience is middle school and high school students
