BZ/SRC Assessment 2025/26 Candidate Bookings

SNB conducts Central Venue Assessments (CVAs) for Bronze and SRC awards in order to ensure consistency and transparency in the way the assessments are conducted. It also ensures the best use of our volunteer Assessors' time and provides them with continual opportunities to network with other Assessors across the Branch.

BZ & SRC Central Venue Assessments are primarily for WET tasks only. A limited number of Dry assessments will be scheduled. Dry tasks will not be offered at Wet assessments. Please review the latest version of the SNB Central Venue Guidelines for full details.

You should select an assessment that is already scheduled, as per the SNB Education Calendar. Please make sure you review the calendar before completing this form.

The Branch will do it's best to keep the calendar up to date with Assessments that are fully booked. In turn we ask that Clubs do their best to only book the number of places they expect to need, and try not to over-book.

CVAs are capped at a maximum of 64 candidates where possible, and we prefer that there are candidates from multiple Clubs in attendance so that we can remain in alignment with the intention of CVAs. Clubs that are training large groups of candidates are respectfully asked to consider staggering the assessment dates for their group to allow for this.

Candidate bookings should be made as soon as your course dates are set to ensure the places are available for your candidates.

SRC to Bronze Transition Program

Candidates must apply and be approved for the SRC to Bronze Transition Program before they begin training. The most current SNB Application form should be used. It can be found on our TeamApp group, and also in the SNB folder of the Members Area document library.
