Welcome to the Gold Coast Water Polo U12 Junior Program for the 2025/26 season! We are thrilled about the upcoming season and the exciting opportunities it offers. This year, a variety of Water Polo events will be held both locally on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane, including:
· GCWP U12 Fun 5's Sunday 24th August 2025, on the Gold Coast.
· QLD Junior Countries: December 2025, on the Gold Coast.
· QLD State Titles: January 2026, in Brisbane.
· Australian Youth Championship: April 2026, in Brisbane.
Gold Coast Water Polo: New to Water Polo Program
The New to Water Polo program is tailored for beginners aged 7 to 12 who are enthusiastic about water and ball sports. This program offers a solid foundation for your Water Polo journey. The only prerequisite for participation is the ability to swim 25 metres confidently.
Gold Coast Aquatic Centre: Sessions will take place from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM on Fridays, June 20th & 27th, and July 4th & 11th, 2025. (Cost: $70)
Pimpama Aquatic Centre: Sessions will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Sundays, June 22nd & 29th, and July 6th & 13th, 2025. (Cost: $70)
Term 3
U12 training will take place at Southport Pool on Friday nights from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The training dates are as follows: July 18th, July 25th, August 1st, August 8th, August 15th, and August 22nd, 2025.
Term 4 and Term 1
Friday night game nights will be held at Southport Pool from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This season, we are excited to introduce a fun 5's competition alongside the training sessions.
Term 4 dates: October 17th, October 24th, November 7th, November 14th, November 21st, and November 28th, 2025.
Term 1 dates: February 6th, February 13th, February 20th, February 27th, and March 13th, March 20th, and March 27th, 2026.
