🎨 Summer Intern (Mentorship-Based)
Location: In-person at Sey Studios (Bakersfield, CA)
Time Commitment: 5+ hours per week | flexible | June–July 2025
Compensation: Unpaid + mentorship

Sey Studios is a whimsical and heart-filled art studio led by artist Ashleymarie Sey Lively. From character-driven stationery and stickers to community workshops and live art sales, Sey Studios spreads joy through color, creativity, and kindness. This is a great opportunity to learn the behind-the-scenes of a working art studio and small business.

✨ What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll help with the day-to-day magic that keeps Sey Studios running, from art event setup to packaging orders—while receiving mentorship and exposure to creative entrepreneurship.

Responsibilities:
🎨 Workshop & Event Support

📦 Studio Organization & Product Help: Inventory supplies

📣 Capture behind-the-scenes content for social
Brainstorm fun product ideas and help prep newsletter or post drafts

🛍️ Popshop Live + Sales Help: Assist with livestream sales: inventory checks, chat moderation, order prep

Friendly, creative, and dependable
Loves working with behind the scenes as well with community events (in-person & online)
Interested in art, design, teaching, or running a creative business
Willing to learn, take initiative, and grow professionally
Available 5+ hours per week (schedule is flexible)

20+ Years experience in art education, event coordination, creative business, and entrepreneurship more!
