Alabama Tennis Foundation College Scholarship Application

The Alabama Tennis Foundation (ATF) will award up to 5 scholarships for $1000 for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Minimum Criteria for Selection

o High school senior

o Current member of the USTA

o Current resident of Alabama for one full school year

o Annual household income is $150,000 or less

o Active tennis player who meets at least one of the following:

    o Played on a high school team.

    o Played Junior Team Tennis or in an NJTL.

    o Played USTA Sanctioned Jr. Tournaments.

The ATF Scholarship Committee uses the following criteria for selection:

o Academic performance
o Extracurricular activities and leadership
o Tennis participation and accomplishments
o Financial need
o Letter of recommendation (from a school administrator, teacher or coach)

Applicants must complete all sections of the application and upload requested supplemental information, including a transcript, essay, letter of recommendation and tax form. The STF will announce scholarship recipients by January 16, 2026.
