Residential New Construction – Online Request for Service Terms

These Terms govern the use of PIR Corp’s online residential new construction quoting and scheduling system and the payment of a pre-construction deposit. These Terms do not constitute the final construction contract for electrical installation services.

1. Nature of the Online Quote
The online quote generated through PIR Corp’s system is a preliminary, unit-based estimate generated using assumed quantities, averages, and minimum code-compliance standards based on limited project information provided by the Client.
Because the online system cannot account for all project-specific variables—including interior wall layouts, ventilation design, equipment selections, lighting layouts, smoke detector requirements, and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) interpretations—the quoted unit counts may be higher or lower than the final required scope.
The online quote is not a guaranteed price and does not represent a final scope of work.

2. Unit Pricing and Price Lock
Payment of the deposit locks in the unit pricing used in the online estimate for the assemblies quoted at the time of deposit.

The final contract price will be adjusted upward or downward based on the final confirmed unit count developed during the design and walk through phase, using the locked-in unit prices in effect at the time the deposit is paid.

This unit price lock applies solely to the pricing methodology used to calculate the base contract value and does not limit or waive any material cost escalation, supply chain adjustment, or price escalation provisions that may be included in the final construction contract.

3. Pre-Construction Deposit and What It Covers
To proceed beyond the online estimate, the Client must pay a pre-construction deposit in the amount displayed at checkout.
This deposit amount is not a percentage of the estimated project value. It is an agreed pre-construction fee intended to compensate Contractor for:
- preparation of project-specific electrical drawings and layouts;
- time spent reviewing plans and project information;
- preliminary coordination and design effort, which may require several hours of professional labor;
- reservation of production capacity and priority placement on Contractor’s schedule for the assumed project start time frame.
4. Application of Deposit Toward Construction Contract
If the project proceeds to construction, the pre-construction deposit shall be credited toward the required construction deposit under the final executed construction contract.
By way of example only:
If the final contract requires a ten percent (10%) construction deposit, any pre-construction deposit previously paid shall reduce the remaining balance of that required deposit dollar-for-dollar.

5. Refund Policy
The pre-construction deposit is refundable for fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of payment, less any non-refundable processing fees charged by the payment processor.
After the 15-day period, the deposit becomes non-refundable due to the commencement of design work, scheduling commitments, and administrative effort.

6. Project Review and Final Contract Process
After the deposit is paid:
- PIR Corp will request and review builder or architectural drawings;
- Electrical drawings and layouts will be prepared;
- A site walk through will be conducted prior to construction;
- Final unit counts and scope adjustments will be identified; and
- A separate, formal construction contract will be prepared for review and execution.
Any additions or deductions from the preliminary estimate will be reflected in the final contract prior to commencement of work.

7. No Authorization to Perform Construction Work
Payment of the pre-construction deposit and acceptance of these Terms does not authorize construction work to begin.
No on-site electrical work will commence until:
- the final construction contract is executed by both Parties, and
- all required deposits and approvals under that contract are received.
8. Priority Scheduling Benefit
Clients who pay the pre-construction deposit receive priority scheduling consideration for the assumed project start time frame reflected during the intake process.
Clients who do not proceed with the deposit may not be eligible for the same pricing or scheduling availability at a later date.
9. Governing Relationship
These Terms govern only the pre-construction planning, pricing, and scheduling phase. All construction work, warranties, payment terms, scheduling obligations, dispute resolution, and risk allocation shall be governed exclusively by the final executed construction contract.
Acknowledgment
By proceeding with the online quote and paying the pre-construction deposit, the Client acknowledges:
- the preliminary nature of the estimate;
- that unit counts are assumed and subject to change;
- that unit pricing is locked upon deposit;
- that the deposit is applied toward the construction deposit if the project proceeds; and
- that the refund policy is limited to the 15-day period described above.
After Signing

After signing above you must pay a deposit to finalize the Agreement, click next to pay your deposit. Deposits are refundable for 15 calendar days (subject to processing fees). Once your deposit is paid you will be contacted for scheduling and to obtain builders drawings. All Electrical projects will come with a set of electrical drawings. A site walk through will be done prior to starting the project to ensure all electrical needs are being met, change orders can be done to deduct or add to the quote above. A finalized construction contract will be drawn up after the site walk, prior to the start of construction.
