    The Australian Cowgirl - as an affiliate of the National Cowboy Challenge Association. We are hosting an approved NCCA Development Show on 29TH JUNE 2025.

    Offering all NCCA Classes as per the rule book (link attached) under the rules of the NCCA.

    Come along and try some Cowboy Challenges for a fun day out!

    It is required that you are a member of the National Cowboy Challenge Association to compete in all approved events.

  • CAMPING ON SITE AVAILABLE $25 PER PERSON PER NIGHT

    Limited yards available on request. All Campsites and Yards are to be cleaned prior to departure of all rubbish, Horse Poo and Feed. A Cleaning fee will be charged if your site OR yard is not left clean. Toilets and showers are available on site

    Entry Fee for all Youth & Rookie Classes is $25 per run

    Entry Fee for all Senior Classes $30 per run. 

    Aged Class competitor age is determined as at the 1st January in the competition year.

    Release of liability of the The Australian Cowgirl, Bonnie View Park, National Cowboy Challenge Association and all associated persons et al, indemnity agreement of observers and participants, and waiver of compensation for video and/or recording and photography.

    Horse riding and participation in horse related activities is/are dangerous recreational activities and horses and cattle can act in a sudden and unpredictable (changeable) way, especially if frightened or hurt.

    I, the undersigned, acting individually and on behalf of all minor children accompanying me, as consideration for the privilege of observing and/or participating in the activities of The Australian Cowgirl, including all events on the hired premises, do hereby agree to release and hold harmless The Australian Cowgirl, and their respective owners, officers, agents, sponsors, representatives, employees and volunteers, from liability for negligent and grossly negligent acts or hazardous conditions including the uncontrolled acts of other guests, participants, and livestock.

    I acknowledge and fully understand there are known and unknown risks, hazards and dangers associated with equine events, natural hazards, and other hazardous activities being conducted on the premises, and I hereby expressly assume all risks and hereby knowingly release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Australian Cowgirl and their respective owners, officers, agents, sponsors, representatives, employees and volunteers, from any and all claims of negligence and gross negligence.

    Entry level division for anyone new to any form of Obstacle Challenge/ Cowboy Challenge, this class can be used to establish the appropriate division for a competitor. Maximum term spent in Rookie is 12 months from attendance of your first Cowboy Challenge. Pro Riders are not eligible to enter this Class. Rookie course will have 10 obstacles Obstacle Level 1-3 Rookie Senior and Rookie Youth Divisions will run concurrently.

    A horse based entry level class for horses new to any form of Obstacle Challenge/Cowboy Challenge in their first competition year and for Futurity aged horses to gain exposure prior to competing in a Futurity aged event. Maximum Term for horses spent in Rookie Horse class is 12 months from the horses attendance at its first NCCA Cowboy Challenge Rookie Horse course will have 12 obstacles Obstacle Level 1-5

    An individual is considered a professional rider when an income is earned from training horses, showing horses for owners or for the education of a rider for the purpose to improve skill, conducting clinics, lessons or re education for remuneration.  Only Professional & Youth Professional riders can enter the pro class.In order for a professional rider to move to a lower level of competition he/she must not receive an income earned from training horses, showing horses for owners, for education of a rider for the purpose to improve skill for remuneration for a period of 3 years. Ref to (9.1 A youth rider is considered a professional rider when an income is earned from training horses, showing horses for owners or for the education of a rider for the purpose to improve skill, conducting clinics, lessons or re education for remuneration.  A Youth Pro rider with less experience than that of a Pro Level 2 Rider will begin in Pro Level Youth Pro riders are still eligible for their youth age classes. Pro Level 1 (0-75 Points) Amateur Pro level Class  for professionals who receive remuneration however may be new to obstacle sports or with less experience than that of a Pro Level 2 Rider.  Level 1 Riders can nominate to enter into Pro Level 2 This is a concurrent run and can be run as a practice run at the discretion of show management, your score from level 1 run goes through to your level 2 entry. Pro Level 2 (Over 75 Points) Pro course will have 12 obstacles. Obstacle Level 1-6

Your points will be recorded should you change to a full membership within one month of paying SDM fee.
