Rules & Regulations:
To ensure the successful execution of the event, we have the following rules and regulations. PLEASE CAREFULLY REVIEW THEM & SIGN THE CONSENT. Ensure correct spelling of participants’ and choreographers’ names in the attached application form.
1. The song/theme selection will be on a first-come-first-select basis to avoid repetition. FIA reserves the right to accept or reject the songs at any time.
2. Two copies of USBs requested for each entry on the event day. The song should not be longer than 4.00 minutes. Please make sure that the quality of recording is excellent. The committee holds the right to stop the music after 4.01 minutes.
3. Each participant will be allowed to participate in only One performance to provide an opportunity to every individual who wants to participate and to avoid performance sequencing issues.
4. A minimum of 8 participants required to perform. Maximum 16 participants allotted on stage.
5. Dress code: Family friendly costumes - suitable for our Indian culture, tradition and its value.
6. All the participants, choreographers/managers must be at the cultural stage at assigned time.
7. Only 1 choreographer or 1 manager along with the participants are allowed backstage.
8. All the participants are expected to come to the cultural stage fully ready in their costumes and make up.
9. Stage will be located at Celeste Center, Ohio Expo Center, 717 East 17th Avenuec Columbus, OH - 43211. Stage has only one-sided entry/exit.
10. Please provide us with any special instruction/information with your entry form.
11. Once the participating group's performance is complete, the participants together with the choreographer/manager must vacate the backstage area immediately.
12. No glass bangles will be allowed on the stage or in the dressing area for the safety of all.
13. No dry or wet colors, objects, papers, confetti, grains, and/or particles or material of any nature whatsoever, should be sprinkled or thrown on the stage or on the dressing area or at the backstage. No hanging props allowed.
14. Photocopies of proof of age for each of the participants will be asked for in case of enquiry or dispute. All photocopies of proof of age will be destroyed after the event.
15. Exception to rules listed above and below are that a Group can have up to 25% of the number of participants of ages +/- maximum 1 year than the limits specified above.
16. The award ceremony function will be hosted at the end of the event.
17. Participants will receive their individual medals through their choreographers after their performance.
18. The Evaluation criteria listed below will be used by the judges. The judges panel consists of distinguished and qualified judges that will judge each item presented in the competition. Each judge will use following 8 evaluations to judge the items, the total score possible is 100.

19. FIA will not be responsible for any physical injury incurred by any individual participating in the show or in the entire event area.
20. As event comes closer, we will notify you of the time slot. If you are not present at a given time slot, your slot will be given to the other dance school and you will lose your slot.
21. Once you receive a confirmation email from our Cultural Team confirming your slot, a $50 registration fee and a $5 ticket fee per participant will need to be paid. A payment link will be included in the registration confirmation.
22. No soundtracks, changes will be accepted after the submission.
23. All the soundtracks should be in the following naming convention.
GroupName_No.of.Participants_ChoreographerName_Final.MP3/MP4
Example: AaraDanceGroup_15_AaraBommireddy_Final.MP3/MP4
