    A continuing education opportunity

  • This workshop will be grounded in the mystery of social and anti-social forces as they prsent within ourselves, within our communities and organizations, and within the society at large, for example in political polarization. Building from the Social Motto of Rudolf Steiner and drawing on the principles of social threefolding and biodynamic agriculture, we will go on a journey in search of that mysterious third force which is capable of harmonizing these tensions and raising them to a h igher synthesis. We will use a variety of methods to uncover and embody these newly emerging capacities, including Goethean observation and Goethean movement, theater games, and biography exercises. We will also spend time in nature ot learn from the beautiful and effortless way the natural world is able to harmonize the most extraordinary polarities.

We have set the fees for both portions of this gathering at cost. We trust everyone understands that some people can easily afford this amount while for others it's a stretch. Rather than offering a sliding scale, we ask that, if you're able, please give more in direct support of those who could use some help. This is another way of associating! And many thanks!

Also, please know that two substantial monetary gifts have already been made: one toward the conference, and one toward the continuing ed, not to mention that Foxhollow Farm gifts to us the use of their beautiful venue, alleviating a substantial cost.

If you need help covering these fees, please contact Eileen Jones (Eileen.JonesVT@gmail.com) about the conference or Diane Piette (dtpiette@yahoo.com) about the continuing education workshop.

For general questions, please contact Eileen Jones.
