JUXTAPOSITION is a half-day summit on AI, the creative economy, and the future of work, where builders, artists, and business minds collide. The event serves as the public-facing platform for the GW School of Business interdisciplinary course Business & Society: Artificial Intelligence (June 2026), which examines the dynamic interaction between AI, business practices, and societal outcomes.
Through a half-day conference format that includes a keynote session by Garry Bolles on AI’s broad impact on business and society, the Summit brings together faculty, brands, builders, and practitioners for talks, panels, and provocations exploring AI’s influence on labor, creativity, and commerce.
JUXTAPOSITION also features the PROMPTHON, a high-energy challenge in which builders race against the clock to bring AI-powered prototypes to life, as well as Art vs. Prompt, a live exhibition juxtaposing human-created artwork with AI-generated pieces, inviting the audience to decide which is which.
