  • Art Auction Artist Application

    If you are a visual artist and have never participated in the Pence Gallery’s annual Art Auction exhibit, we are inviting new artists to submit images of three possible artworks to be juried into the event. The Art Auction exhibit will be on display at the Pence from Sept. 5-26, and it is our major fundraiser for the year, providing support for our exhibits and education programs. This exhibit represents the work of over 100 outstanding local & regional artists, who contribute paintings, photography, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, mixed media work, and more, for online bidding from Sept. 5-26 on our Art Auction website.
  • Art Auction Requirements

    To be considered for the Art Auction, please fill out this application by July 5th. Each submitted artwork must be at least 6" in size, no larger than 36" wide for 2D work, and retail for at least a minimum of $175. We also ask that each piece is framed and/or ready to install by August 23, and is a more recent piece (completed within the past 5 years). Artists set the retail price and can ask for 0-40% back of the sale proceeds. Those who donate 100% of the sale proceeds will receive a complimentary Pence annual membership at the $140 Muse Level.
