• Curlew Regional Writers Grant 2026

Supported by Brittany Riley, this grant offers regional NSW writers the chance to take part in a Writing NSW course of their choice, with the aim of increasing accessibility for writers living outside Sydney. The $1,000 grant is open to writers based at least 200km from Sydney and is intended to cover the cost of a Writing NSW course, with the remaining funds available to support travel and accommodation expenses. This opportunity is designed to support regional writers who would benefit from both the learning and connection a Writing NSW course can offer. Entries close at midnight on Sunday 1 November 2026.
