Speech Pathology Application
What you need to know

Our speech pathologists work on a range of communication needs.

We focus on language (ability to understand and use language), articulation (speech sounds), social skills and literacy.

We support students struggling to develop appropriate reading and spelling skills, with effective high-quality intervention using the Sounds-Write program.

Your application will be reviewed by our Speech Pathology Team. They will contact you to advise available clinic times and book your first appointment.

Cost information

Individual Therapy Sessions

Each session is 45 minutes and will run over a 12-week block. The sessions will take place at our Frewville or Black Forest location.

Each session is $180. Any workbooks required will be at an additional cost.

If you are a SPELD SA member, this will entitle you to receive 5% discount per session as well as 5% discount for essential homework books.

(if required we also offer assessement)

Assessment

We offer a 2hr assessment designed to assess school-aged language and literacy skills (including a written report). The cost is $700.

The written report will be ready within 3-4 weeks.

If you are a SPELD SA member, this will entitle you to receive 5% discount off the total cost of the assessment.
