    Must Read.

“The mission of GRC DOGSPORTS is to provide PEOPLE with the motivation to give their dogs the training they need to thrive in this world, and provide a healthy place for dogs to put all of their natural drives.”

    Personal Conduct:

    • We embrace diversity in all its forms and require all members to respect the differences that make each individual unique. Discrimination or harassment based on any characteristic, including but not limited to race, gender, sexuality, religion, or disability, will not be tolerated. Every individual deserves to be treated
      with dignity and respect.

    • Our club is an inclusive space where all individuals should feel welcome and valued. We actively encourage participation from people of all backgrounds and encourage an open dialogue that promotes understanding and empathy. Our commitment to inclusivity means that no one should feel excluded or
marginalized. By lifting each other up, we can collectively contribute to the growth and well-being of our human and canine communities. Everyone should feel empowered to speak up and offer help to others in need.

    Professional Practices:

    • We commit to the highest standards of professionalism in all aspects of our activities, whether training, competitions, or any other dog-related services. All members, trainers, and affiliates must conduct themselves with integrity, honesty, and respect for others.
    • Members and affiliates of this club will not engage in the practice of soliciting or poaching clients from other trainers, clubs, or businesses. We respect the professional relationships and trust built between clients and their trainers or service providers. Any member found intentionally luring clients away from another professional or club for personal gain will be subject to review and appropriate consequences,
which may include suspension or removal from the club.
    • We encourage open, honest, and transparent communication between all club members, trainers, clients, and stakeholders. Feedback should be constructive and aimed at fostering improvement and mutual respect. We value transparency in all dealings, ensuring that any concerns or issues are addressed in a professional, respectful, and timely manner. All communication should aim to build trust and
      collaboration.

    Commitment to Dog Welfare:

    • We are committed to ensuring that dogs are safe and healthy during all activities. All training, competitions, and exercises must be suitable for the dog's age, breed, physical condition, and temperament. Dogs should not be exposed to undue stress, fatigue, or injury. It is the responsibility of the handler and the club members to ensure that dogs are regularly monitored for signs of injury, illness, or
discomfort and are given medical attention when needed.
    • We require fair and sportsmanlike conduct in all dog sport events and activities. We respect our competitors and strive to create a positive and supportive environment for everyone involved. Engaging in underhanded tactics, dishonesty, or unsportsmanlike behavior, such as manipulating results or
      undermining others, is strictly prohibited.

    Accountability:

Actions that violate the Code of Ethics, including dishonesty, discrimination, harassment, or any form of unethical behavior, will have consequences. The severity of the consequences will depend on the nature and impact of the violation, but all members must understand that unethical conduct will result in appropriate action.

    • Our actions affect not only ourselves but also the community we are part of. We are all accountable to one another, and it is essential that each member acts with consideration for the collective well-being of the organization. A failure to adhere to ethical standards damages the trust and cohesion of the group and disrupts the collective mission.
