Art Adventure Grant

Application Deadline: October 15th 2025

Newburyport Art, in collaboration with The Hemphill Family Foundation, supports a $2,000 grant program for NAA adult artists (ages 25+) in support of their artistic practice and professional development. Examples of fund use include but are not limited to travel, educational classes & learning opportunities, and beyond! Make it an adventure!

Finalists for the award will be notified on October (by 11:59pm), with an invitation to a members only evening celebration. The winner can share some of their work with our community. The artwork shown as part of this does not need to be the same work provided in your grant application below. A separate artwork detail submission form will be provided upon selection and notification of finalists.

Important Dates
- Application closes: October 15th (11:59pm)
- Notification of Finalists: October 25th (11:59pm)
- Winner announced at the Abstract Reception November 8th from 4-6pm
Eligibility
- Applicants for the Art Adventure Grant must be 25 years of age or older.
- Applicants must be current with their NAA membership through the end date December 2025.
- Previous Art Adventure Grant award recipients are not eligible to apply. (Finalists from previous years may reapply!)

There is no fee to apply for this award.

All applications are made online only through this submission form, providing:
- name and contact information
- confirmation of NAA membership
- three uploaded images (25MB max per image) that represent your strongest artwork, accompanied by the title, media/medium, and description of each work
- a statement of no more than 300 words on how the funds will be utilized
- and, optionally, a resume/cv
There is a "Save" button that will save your progress. You may then be prompted by JotForm to follow a few steps to ensure proper saving. Please complete all steps and be sure you RECEIVE an email confirming your form is saved BEFORE closing the form.
