  • As leaders, women - and women of color - are struggling to get to the very top.

    • 29% of CEOs are women and only 7% are held by women of color.
    • Only 10.4% of Fortune 500 CEOs are women
    • 2021 was the first time in history that two Black women were appointed CEO of
      Fortune 500 companies
    • In 2022, women made about 82 cents for every dollar earned by a white non
      Hispanic man
    • Black women make 62 cents for every dollar earned
    • Native American women make 57 cents for every dollar earned by a white non
      Hispanic man
    • Latina women make 54 cents for every dollar a white man earns
    • At this rate, Latina women stand to lose $1.2 million dollars over the course of their
      careers, and Black women stand to lose $964,40

  • Women's Leadership Lab Program

  • The CWCC and our Foundation CWCF is working to change these statistics and we
    need more dynamic leaders like you.

    Join the 2025-2026 Women's Leadership Lab program that is designed to help emerging leaders in manager to director level type roles, individuals with 5 years of industry experience, or business owners looking to enhance their leadership skills to grow their influence in the community, develop their leadership skills, and build their network.

    This program has two key components to develop leaders, that represent four areas of impact and knowledge:

    Content: Gain key leadership skills that women need in order to advance from
    experts and industry leaders, such as: negotiation, board service, strategic alignment, public speaking, being an ally in work, and leading with authenticity and vulnerability.

  • Applications must be received by 5pm August 29, 2025. Possible follow up interviews will be scheduled as applications are received. Submit applications to Treaunna Jones, Program Manager, tjones@cwcc.org.

    Program Expectations: The class meets 1x/month on a Friday 9:00am 3:00pm, October to June. You are expected to be present for the full day. There will be breaks throughout the day to make calls, catch up on emails, etc. In order to complete the program, you cannot miss more than two classes. There may be homework sent prior to meeting for you tolearn about speakers, and topics related to the day.

    Alumni Networking: A few times through the program, you will have opportunities to network with alumni of the program. These are optional to attend, but highly encouraged.


    CWCC Membership
    Anyone can apply for the program, but upon acceptance you are required to be member of CWCC to complete this program. The CWCC team will work with you and your company to figure out what type of membership works for you. If you change jobs through the program, the team can work with you on your membership level as well.

    Capstone Project: There are group projects involved in this program where the class is divided into groups. To accomplish your project, you will need to meet outside of class with your group. The time outside of class depends on the project (approximately 510 hours/month).

    Meeting Locations: This program will take place in person. We will meet in downtown Denver. The address is below.  The summit in June will be held elsewhere. (TBD)
