  • Overview

The Tutshi River on the South Klondike Highway is a classic Yukon(ish) whitewater run. With two distinct sections of varying difficulty, this river provides quality whitewater and stunning scenery for everyone - from beginners to experts.

Saturday the 14th we'll convene at this paddler's paradise for a day of lessons and fun, culminating in an evening cookout on the riverside! There is free riverside camping and we encourage everyone to stick around for a comfortable evening around the fire.

There are no club programs on the 15th, but there’s lots to do on your own in this beautiful section of the Yukon (well, kind of maybe BC, but it should be the Yukon). Go for a bike ride or a hike in the White Pass or bring your canoe and enjoy a paddle on the absolutely stunning lakes in the area.

If you need YCKC gear for this event, get in touch with Erik at 867-334-0716. Gear pick up will be on Thursday the 12th at the YCKC drop-in.

Please note that all participants must have a current 2025/2026 YCKC membership, sign a 25/26 waiver and come equipped with all the necessary gear.
