**Cancellation Policy**
- 50% of each booth fee is non-refundable in the event of a vendor cancellation anytime after Wednesday, April 15th, no matter what the reason(s), i.e wheather, transporation issues, illness, staffing issues, act of God, civil disobedience, product shipment problems, act of war, etc.
1) Vendor Set- Up Time:
- Vendor set up begins at 8:00am.
- ALL VENDORS must set up their booth on Saturday, April 25th, by 10:30am. Vendor parking will be on the back parking lot of Better Family Life.
2) Payments:
** Payments can be made by cash, check, money order, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or Amex. Payments are also acepted via online or directly at Better Family Life. Final payments are due by Monday, April 20, 2026**
General Information:
The Community Economics and Business Expo is an event highlighting the fourth principle of KWANZAA-UJAMAA - (Co-operative Economics)- catering to the individual or business looking to promote or sell their product or service.
The expo wil be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 5415 Page Ave at our Better Family Life Cultural Educational and Business Center, a 60,000 sq. ft. facility listed on National Register of Historic Places. Whether your business is new or established, you are seeking a promotional opportunity or to increase your clientele, the community economics & business expo will provide you with a marketplace brimming with networking and sales opportunities.

Agreement Terms:
LESSOR agrees to provide LESSEE with a booth space containing one (1) table and two (2) chairs in an area approximately 8'x4'. Once LESSEE has been assigned a booth space LESSEE will not be allowed to move around/and or expand into other spaces.
LESSEE agrees as follows
- To pay a fee in full, acording to specifications of this agreement by Monday, April 20th, 2026. to Better Family Life, Inc. Fee is to be paid by cashiers check, money order, cash, or credit card.
- LESSEE's booth must be completely setup by 10:30am April 25th.
- Under no circumstance will LESSEE be allowed to sell or distribute pork or pork by products, alcoholic beverages, street gang parahernalia, cigarettes, drugs, or any other illegal materials; nor shall the lessee promote the use or sale of the same in products and/or services. LESSOR is not responsible for the quality of items sold by the LESSEE.
- LESSEE shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless LESSOR from and against any and all liability (statutory or otherwise), suits, judgements, costs, and expenses (including, but not limited to attorney fees and disbursement) arising from any injury to, or death of any person or persons, or damage to property, including loss thereof, LESSEE's use of and related in any way to the presence on the premises, and participation in this event.
- Food Vendors Only: Lessee is responsible for obtaining a food permit from the St. Louis City health department.
*LESSOR retains the right to shut down LESSEE's booth, preventing any selling whatsoever, if LESSEE is in violation of the rental agreement, is behaving in such a manner deemed inappropriate by the LESSOR, and/or is engaged in any illegal activity. If this occurs, LESSEE therefor forfeits any and all types of refund on their booth.
