Singer supports for success:
Does your child have any needs we should be aware of to better support their success and well-being in VYC?(eg neurodivergence behavioral needs, access concerns or other circumstances). All of our conductors are educators who are trained in inclusive practices. Knowing the strengths AND stretches of our singers will help support both the individual and community. This info helps to increase inclusion and belonging.

Volunteering

VYC depends on the help of our amazing parent and singer volunteers. At the VYC Tiny level, we are specifically looking for chaperones and Parent Managers. Please indicate your preference below and select any tasks you’d be willing to help with—don’t worry, we won't ask you to do everything on your list! 😊
PARENT MANAGER - ongoing role

Parent Managers play a key role in making each choir season a success. It's a big commitment - but also a fun and rewarding way to be part of the VYC community. Parent Managers are selected through an application process over the summer.

Responsibilities include:
- Attending weekly rehearsals and all events for their choir
- Greeting singers and managing attendance
- Providing additional supervision in rehearsals
- Leading chaperoning duties backstage/in the audience for their choir during concerts/events
- Working closely with the conductors as part of a collaborative team. From morale and repertoire to social dynamics, props, and staging ideas - Parent Managers are an important sounding board for our artistic team.

Tuition Fees
Tuition Fees for the 25-26 season are $455.

At the end of this form you will see available payment plans for your tuition fees. You must select a payment method and plan to complete registration.

Financial Aid: Bursaries are available for families for whom the costs of participating in VYC are prohibitive, and who would otherwise be unable to participate.

Uniforms/Mandatory Items
Every singer must have:
- VYC White T-Shirt ($25+GST)
All merchandise and uniform items may be purchased at our VYC Store. A link will be emailed to you along with your confirmation email.

New singers must purchase these items. Returning singers do not need to purchase them unless it is to replace worn-out items.
