We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our coaching team for the upcoming junior representative season. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of young athletes within a well-respected program.
Selection Criteria: Applicants will be assessed based on demonstrated and verified attributes including, but not limited to:
*Please note that while we value all applications, final coaching placements will be offered in the best interest of the Bendigo Braves junior program.
Selection Panel: Expressions of Interest will be reviewed by a selection panel consisting of the Director of Coaching (DOCAD), a Bendigo Basketball Association committee member (BBA Board Member), and a Junior Braves Committee member (JBC board member) who will formulate recommendations which will be finalised by the DOCAD and the selection panel before final assessment and ratification by the BBA Board.
Expectations of Assistant Coaches: Upon appointment, Assistant coaches will be required to:
Application Process: All those seeking a coaching position must apply by the nominated date, in the prescribed manner and format. All current Assistant coaches must re-apply to continue in a position for the 2025/26 season. As far as reasonably practicable, all Coaching selections and appointments will be free of conflict of interest.
All applicants will be interviewed. Interviews will be strictly 15 to 20 minutes in duration. When submitting your Expression of Interest, you must upload the following documents:
Declare any conflict of interest or perceived conflict of interest in your application. Failure to do so can result in non-selection or removal from coaching positions.
