Summer schools in France 2026

We encourage you to build partnerships linked to the topic of your proposed program. If possible, please upload a letter of support from your potential partner(s).

Executive Summary (1000 characters)

The executive summary should be an overview of the key features of your program. It should include a brief description of the program and its learning outcomes. 

Program Description

Applicants responding to this call should upload their program description in a Word document, not exceeding 2 pages.

Please give as much information as possible on the proposed program and use the following outline: 

1. Chosen Topic and Learning outcomes (minimum 3)
2. Program activities and Pedagogy (project-based learning, business and cultural visits, etc.) 
3. Project management (staffing structure and roles, responsibilities, and qualifications of key staff responsible for implementing the project)

Please present a Budget Summary and a Budget Narrative.

Please indicate the maximum number of students and administrators/faculty you can accommodate during the program as this will determine the requested funds. 

The requested funds from the Embassy of France in the US should not exceed 48.000€ (18 students maximum + 2 administrators/faculty). 

Budget Narrative

Use a Word document for your Budget Narrative. 

The Budget Narrative should briefly explain and justify the costs of your budget summary. 

Cost-share is not required. However, should your institution or partner choose to provide cost share as part of the proposed budget, please outline the amount per line item in your budget summary and budget narrative.
