  • Organics (Green Cart) Program Registration for Multi-Residential Properties

  • If you are the property owner of a multi-residential property in Oxford County and would like to participate in the organic waste collection service, you must complete this form

    Examples of multi-residential properties or facilities include apartment buildings, seniors’ residences, or other buildings that contain six (6) or more residential units.

    About

    • The organics (green cart) curbside collection program collects food waste and other biodegradable waste at the curb.
    • You must purchase and use Oxford County-approved 120-litre green carts.
    • There are no fees to participate in the program and bag tags are not required for organic waste.
    • This service is provided by Oxford County under waste collection contracts.

    How to apply

    • If your property is in Woodstock or South-West Oxford, you are eligible to apply and receive service beginning in 2026.
    • If your property is in Blandford-Blenheim, East Zorra-Tavistock, Ingersoll, Norwich, Tillsonburg or Zorra, please apply now. Collection service will begin May 2027.

    Applications must be submitted by property owners or designates of the property. If accepted into the program, you will be notified by Oxford County Waste Management.

  • Each registered Multi-Residential facility will receive one  7L Kitchen Container for each unit at no cost. 

    Residents will use their kitchen containers to fill up with food waste and empty them into a larger 120L Green Cart located in a common area.

    120L Green Carts can be ordered through the County by the property owner. One cart is recommended for every 15 units.

    If your application is approved, the County will provide information for payment and delivery of the containers.
