ANIMAL ADOPTION AGREEMENT

Thank you for choosing a life companion from Yanni friends.

Adoption is a journey filled with love , care & loyality .

YAW will always provide you support to make sure this journey goes through a happy path.

In order to guarantee so , YAW have set conditions to prevent any negative events that may result in failure of adoption.Those Conditions are ALREADY applied by the ideal animal owner by at his own will to make sure the journey is safe & happy.

I understand and commit to the following :

• Adoption trial period is 2 weeks , afterwards the cat is not subject to return, in case I want to return it

I will commit to the RETURN PROCEDURE:

• I have well studied this decision and took into consideration all the factors like ( acceptance of other family members , presence of specific WELL DIAGNOSED ALLERGIES ,the financial costs,residence prohibition of pets,marriage, etc)

• The cat will stay registered under YAW , unless I have to leave the country.

• Abide to all the rules and regulations related to animal welfare in UAE by municipality , the ministry of environment & climate change and others.

• Abide to all the articles of UAW law for animal welfare.

• I will pay adoption fees , refundable ONLY if animal is returned during trial period , admin fees deduction will apply.

• I will do all necessary medical work that’s not yet done ( spay/neuter / tests / vaccines) immediately after trial period is over.

• I will not use the animal for any form of breeding , or entertainement or any activity that is not approved by YAW.

• I accept visit of YAW member to my residence with prior notice.

• I cannot sell or gift the animal to anyone.

• I will inform YAW in case of change of residence , plans to relocate out of UAE .

• I will inform YAW in case of loss , severe sickness , or death due to any reason.

• I will provide all the necessary requirements of food , litter , annual checkups & vaccines .

• I will cover expenses related to sickness treatment & I will not ask YAW to cover it by any means.

• I will never PUT THE ANIMAL TO SLEEP by any circumstances.

• I will maintain a healthy environment for the animal as of a proper space,ventilation,sun exposure,etc

• I will not lock the animal in a cage or small spaces like toilets / store rooms or any form of isolation.

• I will not let the animal roam around in the streets or parks.

• I will respect all known living conditions related to the indoors/ outdoors animals.

• I will keep indoor animals indoors , and in case of need for sun exposure or playing outdoors I will secure that the animal will not run away or fall from heights or get any kind of accidents.

• I will not leave the animal alone ( other than working hours) and will spend a fair time with him when I am home.

• I will inform YAW about any need of fostering ( in case of holidays , hospitalization , etc) and YAW will arrange a foster or I will arrange it and will let the fostering friend sign the YAW fostering form.

• I will not keep other animals in the same space where they endanger each others.

• I will present the documents/ vaccination books of other animals I have.

• In case of any issues , I will read , search , and educate myself by all means on best interests of healthy life for the animal.

• I will contact YAW for assistance in case I fail to solve the issue.

• I will inform YAW in case of any loss of job that will lead to failure to provide the necessary requirements.

• I will contact YAW in case of EMERGENCIES.

• I will update YAW at least every 6 months about the animal by sending photos or video to the email or sharing/ mentioning us on my posts.

• For any reason where the animal cannot stay with us , I promise to handle it to YAW.

• I accept any legal actions taken by YAW in case I don’t comply with the above.
