Application for Scholarship
The Watercolor Society of North Carolina (WSNC) is proud to offer high school seniors the Joe Miller Arts in Education Scholarship, continuing Joe’s legacy of supporting and inspiring young artists across the state.
Each year, one graduating senior from each of WSNC’s three regions—Eastern, Central, and Western—is selected to receive this scholarship at our Annual Meeting.

To apply, you must complete all four parts of this application:
1. Student Information – Fill out the basic details about yourself and your school.
2. Teacher Recommendation – Upload a letter from your art teacher, along with their contact information.
3. Student Statement – Upload a short letter describing your art experiences, your goals in visual arts, and how this scholarship will support your creative growth.
4. Artwork Samples – Upload 3 images of your original artwork, which must include at least one watercolor.
