Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Weekend Farm Manager to oversee weekend operations for a 30–40 head beef donor herd. This part-time position involves hands-on livestock care and support for reproductive management protocols.

Schedule:

-Saturdays and Sundays only

-Twice Daily: Morning and evening

-Approximately 2-4 hours per day (4-8 hours total per weekend)

Responsibilities:

-Feed cattle twice daily

-Monitor heat cycles and report signs of estrus

-Administer injections as part of synchronization

-Assist with basic veterinary tasks when needed

-Clean pens and maintain barn areas when needed

-Observe and report any health or behavioral concerns

Requirements:

-Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation

-Livestock experience required; experience with beef cattle preferred

-Comfortable giving injections and handling cattle for reproductive protocols

-Able to work independently and follow a treatment schedule

-Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all conditions

-Reliable and detail-oriented
