Cub - 1 Beginners Archery Class

Open to Boys and girls 8 to 12 yrs old with no or some experience
Each student will be taught how to shoot effectively using the 11 steps of the USA Archery Program. Each student will have individual attention from the USA Archery Level 3 NTS Instructor iwill be on-site in this group setting.

This class is open to eight (8) students

At the completion of this session your child will be able to safely shoot at targets and have fun while participating in the sport.

No Equipment is necessary

Additional classes for advancement will be available after this session

Session will run for 4 consecutive weeks

If something comes up, vacation, another appointment, or illness all class times will be made up at a scheduled time.

Class Experience

This class is open to beginners or those with little experience. All will be taught the basics of how to shoot a bow and the safety rules of the range. Equipment rental is included in the price of the class. This includes a bow, three arrows, and a target. Participants may use their own equipment if it is approved by the Archery Learning Academy staff, instructor or coach. An arm guard is highly recommended, but not required. These are available for purchase. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.

You will check-in and sign a waiver. Avoid wearing open-toed shoes, loose tops, and accessories such as scarfs and necklaces. For those with long hair, we recommend pinning your hair up or using a hair tie.
