- RD will provide nutritional counseling and education to clients with disordered eating behaviors and weight management issues, focusing on intuitive eating.

- RD will help clients improve their relationship with food through personalized nutritional counseling.
 

About the job

This part-time position offers several options:

1 - Fully virtual (Independent Contractor - 1099)

2 - Hybrid, ideal for registered dietitians (RDs) licensed in the state of GA. (1099 & W2)

 

This position requires at least 3 years of proven expertise in one or more of the following areas:

- Disordered Eating Behaviors (binge eating, texture issues, emocional eaters, picky eaters, compensatory behaviors like purging or excessive exercising, etc)

- knowledge of sports nutrition is preferred

- Spanish-speaking RD preferred

 

Duties and responsibilities

- This RD will specialize in using nutrition as therapy for individuals, providing MNT by conducting detailed nutrition assessments, developing care plans, monitoring an evaluating on-going nutrition medical condition, and providing nutrition education, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.

- Must be able to work independently,  and to document in a timely manner patient’ records and documentation.

- Integrity in commitment to the position, patient care and continued learning.

- Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week. Expected 10 to 20+ hs/week equal to 40 - 80+ hs/month.

- Clear understanding of the Nutrition care Process and charting process.

- Ability to produce three professional references.

 

Qualifications

. Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

. Must have (or willing to have) a current license in the State of Georgia.

. Strong background in dietetics and nutrition. Master's Degree preferred.

. Certification for Eating Disorder or Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor or Certified Functional RD, preferred

 

Schedule

. Job type - Part-time

. Hours: Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week (minimum of 40 hs a month)

. Shift and schedule - Monday to Friday.

. For Hybrid Position - 4 to 6 days/month at the Johns Creek office and Flexible hours for virtual follow ups.

 

Benefits and Compensation

 - Virtual Flexible scheduling, no nights, weekends, or holidays required.

- RD will be focused on patients, one-on-one nutrition counseling sessions.

- Regular consultation and support.

- Insurance credentialing is taken care by the company.

- IRS -  The Telehealth position is Independent Contractor (1099 form). The Hybrid position is Independent Contractor (1099 form) for a trial period of 6 month and after that it is a W2 employment.

- The Company covers annual licensure costs for W2 employees and for independent contractors after a year of being hired.

- Competitive compensation - starts at $45 per patient seen (entry level), based on qualifications and experience.

The salary structure is based on the number of monthly visits made, which increases with greater numbers of visits. As an example, 40-80 pt.seen/month: $21,600 to $57,600 a year or a full-time of $96,768 – 120,960 year.

 

- We have an entire scheduling department who handles insurance and medical billing on the back end.

- RD will be paid independently if insurance covers or not the visit.

- The practice provides the EHR, Full-time Assistant and secure messaging.
