NATIONAL COWGIRL MUSEUM CHARRA GRANT
2026 APPLICATION
The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame honors and celebrates women, past and present, whose lives exemplify the courage, resilience and independence that helped shape the West.
Five grants of $2,000.00 will be awarded to four adult teams and one youth team. Recipients will be selected by the Viva la Vaquera Committee of the National Cowgirl Museum. Awards will be presented at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame in Fort Worth, Texas in spring 2026 at the 3nd Annual Mujeres Charras Históricas Ceremony
Eligibility and requirements: This grant is only available to United States escaramuza teams. Applicants must submit the following to be considered:
- Written form application
- Team photo
- Proof of FMCH registration and participation for three years. The following forms of certification are accepted, and at least two must be submitted for consideration.
- Nacional/Estatal hoja de calificación
- Tabla generál
- Signed letter by your state púa
- Signed letter by your state delegate
- Video (instructions below)
- You will be prompted to follow a link to Dropbox to upload your video after submitting this application.
- Completed applications must be submitted by Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 11:59pm CT.
